As many of you are aware, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. To help raise awareness of this disease and to support those impacted by breast cancer, Pink Together was formed.
On PinkTogether.com everyone can share hope by posting and reading inspiring stories of breast cancer survivors and supporters within the community.
To support Pink Together, General Mills is donating $2 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and is turning the packaging pink next month on an assortment of its most beloved brands. General Mills will also donate $1, up to $20,000, each time you post a comment of encouragement, send a virtual flower bouquet or share a story on PinkTogether.com in October. (HURRY - this has to be done by 10/31!)
To help generate awareness, one of my lucky readers will receive an Inspiring Hope gift basket, which includes a sleeved travel mug, a running ribbon charm bracelet, a pink leather strap key chain, a pink cinch bag, and a set of inspirational note cards. All of the gift basket items are from ShopKomen.com, where 25 percent of the merchandise purchase price benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the fight against breast cancer.
What am I giving away?
1 winner will receive an Inspiring Hope gift basket, which includes a sleeved travel mug, a running ribbon charm bracelet, a pink leather strap key chain, a pink cinch bag, and a set of inspirational note cards.

I've had a handful of women in my life that have been an inspiration from my mother, mother-in-law, and my sisters. There are soooo many people in my life who have great stories to share about life and when you've had the two mothers in your life both have breast cancer scares, it really puts things in perspective! I'm proud to know and have such amazing women in my life!
My Mom and Grandmother inspire me!
I'm most inspired by my teacher Mrs. Hutnik. She actually had breast cancer about a year ago. Somehow, she still got to school almost every day, looking her best and with a smile on her face. She inspired me to do and look my best wherever I go. Even if something bad s going on, I need to shrug it off, put a smile on, and make it a good day.
The women who most inspires me is my Aunt! She beat breast cancer almost 5 years ago and we are planning a family trip to disney next year to celebrate!
