Giveaway: Pink Together/Inspiring Hope Gift Basket - CLOSED

As many of you are aware, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. To help raise awareness of this disease and to support those impacted by breast cancer, Pink Together was formed.

On PinkTogether.com everyone can share hope by posting and reading inspiring stories of breast cancer survivors and supporters within the community.

To support Pink Together, General Mills is donating $2 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and is turning the packaging pink next month on an assortment of its most beloved brands. General Mills will also donate $1, up to $20,000, each time you post a comment of encouragement, send a virtual flower bouquet or share a story on PinkTogether.com in October. (HURRY - this has to be done by 10/31!)

To help generate awareness, one of my lucky readers will receive an Inspiring Hope gift basket, which includes a sleeved travel mug, a running ribbon charm bracelet, a pink leather strap key chain, a pink cinch bag, and a set of inspirational note cards. All of the gift basket items are from ShopKomen.com, where 25 percent of the merchandise purchase price benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the fight against breast cancer.

What am I giving away?

1 winner will receive an Inspiring Hope gift basket, which includes a sleeved travel mug, a running ribbon charm bracelet, a pink leather strap key chain, a pink cinch bag, and a set of inspirational note cards.

How can you win?

You get up to 4 chances to win:

1) Leave a comment letting me know which woman/women inspire you in your life. (Note: Scroll to the bottom of this post and click "Post Comment". You must be on my site - you can't do this through a reader)

2) Become a fan of the Stretching a Buck Fan Page on Facebook. If you are already a fan, you can leave a comment letting me know that you are already a fan (thank you!).

3) Subscribe to my feed or email newsletter and stay on top of all of the deals I write about each week! If you already subscribe, please leave a separate comment letting me know that you are currently a subscriber (thank you!).

4) Promote this giveaway and/or blog. If you don't have a blog, you can Tweet about it (follow me: I'm @stretchingabuck), post about it on your favorite forum, or tell your friends about it! However you decided to promote it, be sure to come back and leave a comment letting me know how you did it.

**In order to tally your entries correctly, please include an email address or link to your (VALID) profile with your contact information. If a winner with no contact info is chosen, the next person on the list will be the winner. If you choose to leave an email address, I recommend that you use a generic email address as this info is viewable by anyone who views my comments. I strongly encourage you to create a Google profile with this info in order to better protect you.**

Who is Eligible?

You must have a valid US address to be eligible.

When does this giveaway end?

Sunday, October 25th at 10 PM, EST.

The winner will be chosen via the random number generator at random.org and will be announced no later than Monday, October 26th. Please note that if I do not hear from the winner within 4 days that another winner will be chosen.

Good Luck!

I've had a handful of women in my life that have been an inspiration from my mother, mother-in-law, and my sisters. There are soooo many people in my life who have great stories to share about life and when you've had the two mothers in your life both have breast cancer scares, it really puts things in perspective! I'm proud to know and have such amazing women in my life!

My Mom and Grandmother inspire me!

I'm most inspired by my teacher Mrs. Hutnik. She actually had breast cancer about a year ago. Somehow, she still got to school almost every day, looking her best and with a smile on her face. She inspired me to do and look my best wherever I go. Even if something bad s going on, I need to shrug it off, put a smile on, and make it a good day.

My boyfriends cousin inspires me. She is a two-time breast cancer survivor and underwent a total mastectomy last year at 50.

She lives her life for today and never looks forward or back. She inspires me to find joy, peace and strength even in the toughest times.

Thank you so much for recognizing this special month in your giveaway.

I have two friends who are survivors of breast cancer: Peggy and Mary.
They both are such inspirations! To see them go through all the treatments they've had to and all the surgeries and still they smile..It just puts into perspective how easy my life really is in comparison.

Thank you for this giveaway opportunity. If I win, I'm giving it to one of those ladies.
