Giveaway: $100 Home Depot Gift Card - CLOSED

Home Depot Garden Club My husband and I have been growing vegetables in our flower beds and on our patio (in pots) for a couple of years now, but we still have a lot to learn about gardening. That's why I was excited when I heard about The Home Depot Garden Club.

I would love to tackle starting a new lawn from seed. We just bought our house about a year ago and the back yard, though fenced, is just all mud. We would love to grass it after the hottest summer months are over so the kids can play back there.

We have several projects we'd love to do. Ours is a relatively new house (5 yrs) which we built mainly ourselves, but there's still a lot we could do: pour concrete driveway, add patio/firepit to backyard, add flower rings around some trees to make mowing easier, and we've even talked about adding a pond.

Christy said...

That storage bench DIY project was super cute! I'd love to try to build it... with a lot of my husbands help!

We are going to be moving into our very first home soon and I've always wanted a garden. We've usually lived in apartments where a garden is just not possible! We have a big yard now so there will be lots to do and lots to fix up to make it homey! I hope I win this gift card - we will really need all the help we can get!

I'm thinking the first project will be either building an island bed or laying a garden path!

I found two projects that I'd like to take on. First I'd like to build 3 raised garden beds, i've been wanting to do that for a while and they step by step on the home depot site is great. The second project is installing paving stones. It's something that we really need to do for our front walkway and the instructions on the site make it seem really doable. I'm gonna be off next week so that might be one of my projects.
